I honestly really like all of the CertainlyT champs. They're all really fun and skill expressive. They all have really cool lore, and while they may seem no skill at times when you get one shot by them cough cough 
cough cough they honestly take skill. I'm looking foward to seeing what CertainlyT can come up with in the future, because all of his champions have unique kits that bring something new to the game every time.

What people don't like is the counterplay that those champs have, which is often very little.

It's almost like either their defenders literally have no idea, or even they know deep down how incompetent CT really is as a designer.
Also, having the imagination and innovation of a bottom tier DeviantArt OC artist is NOT creative. I have 0 idea why people always say he's creative or whatnot. They really aren't, at least nowhere equivalent to the praise they received for it. As I've said before somewhere else, it does feel like CT is so indefensible people actually end up inventing perks for him or else any talks about him would be entirely negative. Or really, we could just call out something as something is?

I agree that they're fun, generally high skill cap champs, not sure I look forward to more (although the Warwick rework was a masterpiece).
Playing against most of CTs champs still make me want to cut my fingers off and never play a video game again, but kudos for actually saying an unpopular opinion.

The problem is that his champs tend to be so flashy that they don't have much counter play. Obviously higher level players can play around them because they have pretty much become one with the game, but to low level players it just seems like total bs. Let's take pre-rework darius for example. To a high level player he was really easy to beat, no matter how good at darius the player was. However to a low level player there seemed to be no counter play. This frustrated the low level players that make up ~60% of the community (ifrc) so there was massive outrage and thusly CT became known as a really shitty designer, even though he's really not.

That's the correct way to design, you balance around the best players not the absolute worst.

To a degree, but if they balanced around the best then champions like Garen wouldn't exist. There wouldn't be anything for the new palyers to dig their teeth into, and thus there would be an even larger entry barrier than there already is.
