New Champ Select: Thoughts & Questions

So, the new champ select is pretty, I'll give it that. There are a few things about it that I don't like or really get.

First, why do I have to practice selecting my champ? So people don't ban it? Why not just put it in text like usual? It adds 40 seconds to an already lengthy process and it feels absolutely pointless.

Second, Do people HAVE to play the role they queue for? What's to stop someone from queuing for support and top and then locking in a mid champ and going mid on their pick? Is this punishable? It's only a matter of time until it starts happening.

Third, I get being given so much time for bans, it's hard to decide sometimes. But I feel like the time given to select a champ is way too long. 15-20 seconds would be plenty. Type in the name of your champ in the search bar, click it, and go. I hate watching people cycle through 40 champs until the last second then locking in their champ.

Fourth: Give a dodge penalty for failing the AFK check. How the hell do so many people queue and then not accept the match?? Is ADHD that bad in NA that people forget they've queued for a game within 30 seconds? Holy moly.

Last but not least: Where's the kick a player button? Why can't you get one "start vote to kick" that you earn like (but slower than) you earn Re-rolls in ARAMs? I want to be able to counter ze trolls!
