Idea for Gangplank rework
Im not going to do a huge amount of numbers here just an idea i had.
I know gankplank is on the table for reworking/balancing and i have an idea for him.
Back when they made gangplank (
) they were trying to create a "melee adc" and obviously they gave up.
OK so
TLDR
1 remove his mana (replace with ammo system)
2 make his parley a medium range skill shot with full on hit effects (think jinx zap)(maybe a little shorter). Give it a super short cooldown like .5 - 1.5 seconds that probably starts higher then gets shorter as you level it and isnt affected by cdr(maybe) and costs AMMO....his base ammo would be something like 15 or 20.
3. running out of ammo causes him to "reload" silencing him for 4-7 seconds (think rumble overheat)
4. his w "raise moral" would be change to "fast reload" or something that has 2 effects both with the overall effect to reload his ammo
4.1 if you HOLD w for 1+ second gp gets a speed burst for 3-5 seconds but is silenced and cant aa as he is reloading
4.2 if you TAP w gp gets a dash (think graves dash maybe longer) but is rooted for 1.5 seconds (more or less) while he "fast reloads"
4.3 if you cast w while at full ammo you can dash/blink without the silence/root effect. (this will allow gp to make plays/reposition at the beginning of fights and also gives him a better out if he gets jumped by
out of combat)
5 he can still eat oranges for same effect 6 hes still melee 7 ult can stay or go
Late game gp teamfight looks like a lucian ult that can be aimed as he will rapid fire his q but they still hit first minion or champion and as such can be body blocked by tanks
