Azir Jungle -- is it supposed to be a thing? (Sated Devourer)

Hey there, Onwodori here.

So a bunch of patches ago, Azir was given the ability to proc sated devourer's double hit on his soldiers, so that seems like he is supposed to jungle only he gets shredded clearing. Now, Disclaimer: I am not a good Azir player at all.

Anyways. Yeah, what's up Riot? Was this just a fun, troll add on? Or did you mean for it to be viable? I could see Runic Echoes working on him, maybe, but he is still squishy as can be and clears painfully slow.

'Xplain yoself.

Ryze can still proc lifesteal with his AA, but he's never meant to be built AD.

So in contrast with this fact, what makes you think Azir is a viable Sated jungler just because they fix yet another bugfix?

No, but the fact that they went out of their way to give his soldier's the ability to proc the double hit as opposed to having only his auto attacks proc it make me think it they had something intended for the Shuriman Pigeon.

Azir's soldiers are spells, not auto attacks. This showcases the Rito way of making some things work with some people and the same things not working with other people (e.g., Brand with DFT).

If it procs Dev, why don't they just make it proc on-hits instead of being spells? It's a buff in total - it means soldiers will proc Nashors, won't be blocked by spell shields, and the only downside is spellvamp no longer does anything.

With all the unnecessary nerfs to him, they gave him this buff so people wouldn't feel like all they did was nerf him, even though that's what they did.
