ADC Ezreal isn't as fun to play, AP Ezreal mid is a lot of fun.

Out of curiosity, why is mid Ezreal always AP and bot Ezreal always AD? Can't you technically mix it up?

I've seen AD Ezreal mids before, Ezreal can go whatever he wants mid lane, but as an ADC, wouldn't he and his team want to be an AD focused carry dealing physical damage?

That's the thing though, i never understood why AD Ezreal is more popular, he scales better off of AP, except for his Q, which happens to be his most used ability.

An ADC is a role, not a lane :P

Couldn't you have an ADC top or mid lane while Ezreal bot goes AP? His W would be slightly more powerful if you have an engage tank (Leona or Naut) who could benefit from the passive attack speed boost, since that ability is often skipped over in the early game if you're going AD...

TY I just face palmed cuz I was torn on just who I'd combo my Miss Fortune Bottom with. (I have arcade Ezreal) and a Ezreal mid does work great after some practice. You reminded me of that with this post <3 gives upvote

Yeah, quite a lot of things are better mid than they are botlane. For example, Tahm/Mordy are probably two of the funnest/most obnoxious things mid when you have the right matchup (assassins usually for the former, as he makes zed/yasuo players rip their hairs out).

As for ezreal being bad bot, it's kinda a 50-50. If you survive the crappy laning phase, you turn into a slightly more powerful lucian. If you don't, then you become a massive liability to most team comps.

and yes, onhit AD ezreal mid. AP ezreal is cute till they start fighting back. I'm sure both are situational but ezreal behaves like an adc regardless of what you build so I don't really bother to differentiate outside of the fact that AP ezreal needs a break every 10 seconds like a chain smoker.

ADCs in general have an advantage against many midlaners for the earlier portions of the match. like advantageous it can throw off strategies and ruin someone's farm pattern completely. But the catch is that they are more vunerable to ganks (even ezreal) and that they fall off around level 6 (or 9 in ezreal's or other caster adcs' case)
