you're a support--------------> you shield, heal, cc and that's it

except that this time they brought mobility for our assassin mains like rakan designers said

you really have no idea on how to make an original support? i suggest you look at the past with Bard Thresh TahmKench Taric

To date, Rakan is the ONLY super squishy, highly mobile support. He's pretty damn unique.

What exactly is wrong with having a flashy support like Rakan?

Even if Rakan would have Azir/Ryze level winrate I would play him over someone like Janna for example. At least his kit is engaging, I don't want to end up as a pure disengage and heal/shield bot.

You call Thresh original?

Thresh is just a chimera, a Frankenstein's monster, an abomination created by putting many strong supports and other existing champs into a blender and conveniently leave out a great deal amount of risks and weaknesses those "bases" of which they made this champ from have. And oh who's Thresh lore-wise you might ask? Hop on deviant art or any online art sharing site and locate any gothic wraith with chains OC or whatever, and that's our Thresh.

Personally I'd choose Rakan any day, at least he has a defined strength and weaknesses and actually having a character and an identity. The same can't be said for our faceless void called Thresh who's sole reason to exist was that some designer wanted to make "the ultimate support", who also think "identity and originality? What is that shit?"

Taric isn't original. He heals, shields, CCs and that's it. He just also gets to duplicate his abilities on another ally.
