I get it, everything is left behind when you get morde ulted but should sions axe really reach into another realm to smash the ground back at summoners rift instead of the death realm? at least make his ult disrupt the channel if that's how its going to be.

Lots of abilities and things in league interact similarly with Morde ult, any delayed skillshot or "trap" does not carry over, nor does stuff like Kata´s daggers.
