Irelia Mains - New Tri Force Thoughts?

I have had a chance to play the new Tri - Force. I really like the boost in attack speed, and the increase in cooldown reduction.

I really liked that by placing a Stinger rather than a Zeal it provides the cool down and the attack speed needed for dps bruisers such as Irelia. I never saw the need for critical strike unless you were Tryndamere. Furthermore, when I bought the old Tri Force the main problem that I had was there wasn't enough attack speed for Irelia to be viable late game since she is a late game champ. Without the attack, it feels like she falls off into late game. The item 3101 in the Trinity Force really allows her to put out more damage while allowing more room for tanky items.

I have been playing Irelia since season 4, and I have over 380K with her. She has been my favorite champ since that time. Somehow she fits my play style perfectly, and this new Tri Force increases my love to play Irelia even more.

These changes remove her crit chance for the build, imo I don't like it. I don't have Irelia on this account but when I play her she tends to be a snowball, this makes me think they want her to be an attack speed CDR build? what a weird change.

There is some truth in that. I felt her early game stronger than usual.

Got 135k mastery points or Irelia. Math says 25% attack speed for 20% crit chance is a buff, especially when you are performing your full combo. Since you dont build inifinity edge on irelia, cirt chance had really low value for her. An additional 10% cooldown reduction is surprisingly good. With 20% cdr You can spam your ult like every 50 seconds. I thnk it's a huge buff for irelia. Also rito also buffed wits end. You should check out youtube channel called "Irelia Carries U", I bet this guy has more thoughts about the trinity change.
