advice for playing with a low level friend?

I'm silver 2 and I have this friend I know who's getting into league and wants to play. I'm worried that if I play with them, that they'll have an unfun time, that they'll be matched against higher skill opponents than they usually would, and it'll just end up making them have a frustrating time.

although, I do remember when I started playing, having an experienced friend by my side was something I liked, I thought it was fun, and I sorta felt "safer" in the crazy new environment that was league. so in this case its a good thing for me to join my friend...

anyone have any experience/advice regarding this scenario?

I'd recommend bot games if you're not willing to smurf. Give them a taste of pvp after they hit lvl 18. That way they can at least max one mastery tree.

i think its a good thing. the leveling system is poor. i wouldn't be surprised if your friend quit league before level 30. Of course if you play with your friend, they probably wont quit.

when i first joined i was playing with some experienced players and i remember their advices helped me greatly. so greatly i skipped bronze all together :P.

well...not all together, i did fall down to bronze due to tilt in my early days..but i quickly climbed back out aha.

yeah I made a few freinds in low level... but they all quit. I stuck with it... too addicted xD

in a game like this friends are everything.

The community is rather terrible at times, so having someone you know to play with can make a world of difference. I'll play with you and your friend if you want :). I have a low level account i'm trying to level up.

But most "new" people are smurf I played a smurf for a bit and honestly its harder than ranked. Im playing plat smurfs half the time and its terrible. I have no clue how i even got into the game. But i would have loved my diamond and plat friends to help me through league when i started
