LeaverBuster Is Unfair

I just got my first warning and am very upset. My whole team probably reported me. I was in an ARAM and somehow my Wi-Fi router got unplugged so I DC'd. Upon re-entering the game, it was over and on the stat screen there's a big red 'LEAVER' at the top. On my match history, it says 'Leave.'

Neither of these are true and it wasn't my fault. I understand the impact that leaving has on the entire team. It is a terrible impact and it isn't cool. But I also never report someone when I know they're having connection issues. I don't know. I guess my rant is over, I'm just upset over a warning at something I was unable to control. Not to mention, I reconnected. The game was just over by then. I think LeaverBuster is a great tool if used effectively against people who consistently leave and abuse 'DCing.' But for those of us who have one disconnect every now and then, this system works against us.

Exactly. I don't know what to believe. And I sort of take offense to the final sentence. It seemed like a "your shit sucks, get new shit" kind of thing. Which I can agree with to a degree, but my setup runs fine, and you can't just tell someone that they aren't allowed to enjoy the game if they can't afford a new setup. That is the exact same thing Bungie told XB1 Destiny players. I get that the better the computer is, the less problems you will have, but this game isn't running on some insane engine, and it doesn't have to. That was a really ignorant thing to say. I can't control my ISP, but I'm not going to go through the hassle of changing my ISP just so LoL won't crash.

It really sucks when it happens in an ARAM because getting banned for leaving an ARAM is like...WTF?

Recently I was in a normal game of league playing with my friend when the electricity in my area just stopped. Nobody had electricity around my neighbourhood and no internet access either. I was disconnected and next day when the electricity was back, I checked my account and found my account in low priority queue. I am very unhappy because this wasn't my fault and leaver buster shouldn't people like this. I asked riot if they can take my account out but they said they couldn't so they pretty much got me in trouble bit won't do anything to help. Pretty mad

I strongly regret that i put money into riot. As long as i read posts i realized theres no help for me in this case.

I was in champ selection which ends and everybody starts login except me ...i chceck my laptop and connection..everything was ok..I tried to login two more times but when i logged in game..it says that i was send to lower priority ..game will close...so FO,,,i got leaver for 5x 20mins for nothing...ridiculous.

I was placed into a lower priority queue in the leaverbuster system, however, i had no games that i was d/ced from, none that i left voluntarily, i had played all recent games to the end, and honestly have no idea why it happened to me. I left a custom game that i was playing, but there were no other actual people in it, and nothing was said to me after the game that said i would be punished for leaving.

Well...you left. As has been said, unless you're a chronic leaver, which it shouldn't be if it was just your router getting unplugged, you won't be punished. I'm not entirely sure that's a warning, since I never had an issue with leaving.

It's completely fair ;s. I have bad internet, but I agree putting your team at a disadvantage for even five minutes screws your entire team and their enjoyment over. I've had six or so afks in my last fifteen games? It just ruins your week
