Mac Player and Cannot Control Leblanc's Passive... Help?

Okay, so for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to control LB's passive. The tooltip says to hold down ALT and control the clone with the right mouse button, which sounds great in theory. But it feels so awkward and my hands don't seem to flow well when it comes time to run away and control the passive at the same time. Others have compared it to controlling Tibbers but for Tibbers, I just hold down R and use the right mouse button. I can't do that for LB because her passive isn't her ult, therefore I cannot use the R key to control it. Any suggestions? I want to play her but her passive is a big part of her kit.
