Redefine Diana

Right know, the Moon Priest champion role has been taken by Diana, a Tank/Assasin champion. Is this fine?

In my oppinion, it isn´t- Moon Priests can use the power of the Moon to Heal, Stealth, Deceive, Murder, Hunt, Reborn, Corrupt, Cheat. But I haven't seen a priest channeling the Moon's power to tank damage. Also, according to Diana's lore, the Lunari were nearly extint, so ther last hope to be a thing again won't go All in against her enemies saying "Believe on the Moon, or Die!" , at least if she want the lunari to be something again.

So in my opinion, Diana's kit should revolve more about the Moon aspects, not having an ability that says "I am related to moon!" and a tank/assasin kit.

So here it comes:

Passive: Moonsilver Blade Diana gains X% Attack Speed. After casting a spell, the next autoattack o will deal Y Bonus Damage and will shield Diana for Z amount.

  • It is no longer a waveclear, but it allows her to survive trades and the jungle

Q: Crescent Strike No changes

W: Moonfall Now aplies Moonlight

E: Lunar Rush Diana blinks against target enemy unit, dealing η damage. If the enemy is a target affected champion is affected by Moonlight or Diana gets a kill or assist, Lunar Rush cooldown is refreshed. (Low mana cost, Low cooldown late, Low base damage, low scaling)

  • Its the new akali! Joking, this is what makes new Diana more moon representative. Read Ultimate!

R: Star Rain For the next ψ seconds, Diana calls a Star Call around her, dealing magic damage and applying Moonlight to champions near. Also, while Star Rain is active, Diana gets stealthed by 1 sec. after using Lunar Rush. (Ultimate Cooldown, Ultimate Damage, 100 Mana Cost, Star Rain damage DOESNt stop stealth)

  • She now gets an ultimate, and makes her a really deceiptive champion. You know she has jumped, but where? You cant calculate damage, because the star rain is dealing damage and lunar rush damage is low. So Diana may be behind you!

Althought this rework doesnt make her the tanky bruiser everyone identifies with Diana, it makes her more as a moon assasin.

Opinions?

To be perfectly honest, I don't quite understand what your goal is. These changes seem a little capricious.

The goal is to make her a Moon Pries, but I have no idea how you came here. This thread is 2 months old wow.

Depending on numbers this could also make her a super sticky bruiser. I mean you hit q, go in with e, get moonlight by using w, if they get away you then use e again and if they still have escapes you use r go in with e, then your w cd comes up again... Sorry for not using ability names but this would make her extremely sticky and if her passive gives good damage or her new ult does not do a lot of damage (most likely not since it is a dot) then she would end up in a bruiser role.
