Hey guys im going to try to pick up vi here. Any good tip for playing her? Also jungling advice in general? I have gotten to play much lately so im not sure what the new jungle is like. I have a basic knowledge of vi, but nothing to detailed. How do you gank with her, how often should I gank? How early can I solo dragon? how should i build with items/runes/masteries.

Thanks for the help in advance. She ses really fun and jungle looks intresting.

Vi is somewhat of an all-in type of champ (not exactly like Leona) that deals a pretty heavy amount of damage. In means of jungling, she deals a lot of damage through her W constantly procing off of the camps. In means of starting, I've gone with W or E depending on the circumstance. With a few points in E (and 1 in Q), clearing camps will become easier. Getting Dragon is possible especially if you run early Tiamat or some sort of lifesteal.

Ganks are situational before level 6 as the enemy team needs to have pushed enough for you to have enough of a window to Q in at an angle. Her Q is a slight CC so it briefly locks them up enough for a combo unless they flash. Once you get your ult, gank away because there's your all-in mechanic at times.

My runes mostly a mix of atk spd, AD and Armor/MR. My masteries is usually 18/0/12. I would refer to a guide for those.

My builds have been very unique once I got familiar with the champ. The flexibility she can bring out in being a AD Bruiser or Tank Bruiser is pretty abundant. I would start with the recommended; particularly item 3071 somewhere in that. She still finds value in any item 3057 item. I've personally run item 3146 or item 3124 for hybrid stats and a bit more jab in the E.

This is something I can help with as i am a jungle main and a Vi main :)

I tend to start blue, even though I know of the new red>krugs route, I just enjoy having mana and having plentiful amounts of it. Now if you start blue, you won't get level 3 until you get murk wolves, if you start red, you'll get level 3 from red and krugs. Vi's clears are extremely fast and fluent. They're very safe. I always E on the final hit of her passive W, and always start W. Max Q, then Max E, but some max W second. Up to you.

Now if you have talisman and machete, with one smite up, and level 3, you can solo dragon but it's a pain to do at that early but is possible as i've done it in the past. I go for dragon at level 5 and when I have two long-swords for a bit of damage, but feel free to try to go earlier but at a higher risk of dying taking it.

Ganks are a different story. I gank at level 3, either from red or after murk wolves or scuttle, but I do gank very early. Ping for your laner to be ready and use your Q to initiate. Best thing to do is Q them in to your laner since the Q as a knockback. When you're ganking, always E with the final hit of your W passive for the most damage. Vi is capable of skirmishing in solo battles and can pick up solo kills depending on where you in terms of build and level. I either use my ultimate as utility to knock up, or to secure kills. Either way, it works extremely well in both of those aspects, as it does damage and prevents the enemy from getting way from the gank. Ganks with Vi are quick and fluent as she can roam fairly quickly and gank each lane.

Invading the enemy jungle works very well on Vi as well as her damage with her W is strong. If you catch the other jungler depending on who they are, you may be able to 1v1 depending on your build/level/hp.

For masteries, I can't remember them all off the back of my head, but make sure to run CoTC, as it gives you shield from your Q and allows you sustain more damage and stay in the fight.

The build is simple, I go jungle item with the 60+ attack damage>MR boots/AR boots>Triforce>Dead mans/Spirit>Steraks Gage/Frozen Mallet, for the final item, i see a lot of GA but I go another damage item as I personally dislike guardian angel as an item.

First point in w and max r q e w

Start red path and you want to conserve enough mana for a a q e combo

Runes and build are situational there isn't a good cookie cutter build it depends on what your against

Kite in between camps to migrate dmg and to move to next camps faster

Q aa e aa e Use e to reset your autos and try to line minions up so you can use e to do more dmg

Gank is use q and flash whenever your 100% to be a guaranteed kill

Check the map to see which lanes to gank and enemy jg pathing to predict and counter gank

You can solo drag early after first buy but you need to be certain the pit isn't warded

As a jungler you have to have an optimal clear path and an idea of what to do next
