Ekko is basically AP Riven

While he requires a lot more preparation, he's a pseudo-assassin that has the ability to 1v5 but hardly is able to do it regularly. He's countered by hard-CC and anything that outbursts him, his has a massive amount of mobility, and has some abilities to help him bulk up so that he can survive to do his work.

He may be a bit overloaded in terms of the amount of things he does, but you'd think with the fits being thrown you'd still be seeing a few threads near the top crying about how Riven is OP and shouldn't be able to 1v5. He really isn't as bad as everybody makes him out to be - yeah, he can really snowball, but so do half of the rest of the burst champ roster He has a couple of things he needs tweaked, but with everything he has, there's a pretty large stipulation to be found on them or no small amount of preparation for them that can be avoided by the fact that half of his skills announce themselves like they just came out of the closet during a gay pride parade. Honestly, calm your guys' tits - he's still a fun champ that I would much rather not see get over-nerfed like some of the other champs we've had, and while he's incredibly obnoxious now, it's largely in-part due to:

1. He's new so we haven't gotten used to him, and

2. He's an assassin and they're notoriously infuriating.

His Q's like Ahri in it's a front and back skillshot, his W's like a combination of Riven's E and W, his passive W is like Fizz's with percentage of missing health passive damage as well as his E being like FIzz's in that it's two separate jumps, and his ult's like Zed's ult but streamlined so it's just the escape - or initiation if you actually manage to set that up. It's all not unlike anything we've seen before. Give it a week and once everybody figures out what to do with him, then keep crying if he's really demolishing as much as you'd like to bawl about.

TL;DR: Obnoxious: yes. Does that mean broken: no.
