Orianna tips?

The other day I put up a post asking for tristana tips, and I'm back. Hell, this won't even be my last one today. So I was wondering if anyone has any tips for playing as orianna. She's the mid-laner I'm most comfortable playing as, and am looking for ways to get better with her.

I usually level q, then w, then e, then r, and know her basic combo. But I feel that there's so much more I can do with her.

Last night i was watching a random tips and tricks video, there was a part where the guy showed how you could hide the ball in certain walls and the enemy will have no way of seeing its there. thought it was pretty cool

There arent any real tips to playing Ori, just play her a lot, the more you play the better you will become. She is highly rewarding, but needs a lot of practice. Hell I have over 4000 Ori games since season 1 and I still suck on her if I dont play her a month or two. Most important thing is to learn the matchups, when to play safe and max E before W and when to go aggressive and maybe take ignite or something. There is a ton of variation and you can play however oyu want, yet she is perfectly balanced which is why I love her so much. GL HF :D

Thank you for the tips! She's the one person I can beat Yasuo as.

I actually didn't know to max her e before her w, so that will be something to take into account in future games.

Glad to see another fan of our mechanical friend!

Just making sure that you didnt misunderstand doktor, that's only if you need to play safe, in other words losing lane/not doing well.

I got that. I was just making a small note. But thanks for checking to see if I understood!

I would suggest trying some different builds, like try building a split push nashors orianna, or a tangier orianna, or a full damage orianna. See which one fits you best. I always find experimenting with items points out strengths and weaknesses of the champion really well. Also teaches me to build for my specific weaknesses as a player rather than only the champ's weaknesses.

Playing oriana with smart cast turned ON is the best tip anyone can give you. The first and only time I turned smart cast on was because I played ori occasionally, and after that I never turned it back off.
