Question about URF

Ok so we (assumably) all know that ARURF is coming back soon. However, for a lot of us that were there when URF first came around that fateful April Fool's Day so many years ago, we can't help but wonder if there will ever be a return of the good ol' regular URF where we could PICK the champions we wanted to play, actually create balanced teams, or even just pick the champs we want to try out with certain builds (like ap Pantheon for ex. since you can spam the heck out of his W). Back then, URF was a once a year event that came around every April Fool's Day and it was HYPE. The only issues people had with the mode was how some champions were just completely god-awfully broken (like Fizz and Vladimir with their constant immunity spam while they damage you and you can't damage them). Back then you couldn't ban all the champions you would want to ban, but there was also the issue of you couldn't always play the champion that you wanted to play because that champion was one of the few that was pretty much permabanned by the players. Then the player base started complaining so Riot tried to make a fix, which is where ARURF comes in. On paper, it looks totally balanced and fair for everyone. Everyone has equal chance of getting any champion whether they know how to play it or not, they can reroll like in ARAM for another one if they don't like the one they got. But here is the problem. Matches are almost always one sided and unfair. Just about every game of ARURF has one team steamrolling the other because of a couple factors: A. One team has better champs for URF. B. The players on one team have champions they are good with and understand meanwhile the players on the other team get champions they have never played a day in their lives (last ARURF I got Ryze about 6 or 7 times and 3 of those times being consecutively and I couldn't really do much because I didn't know any of his combos and was left helplessly button mashing hoping something comes out of it). The other team gets Veigar AND Nasus? Well you're pretty much done. Welp you just drew Yasuo who plays pretty much the exact same way because he already has no cooldowns except on his W and ult and his Q's cooldown is only affected by attack speed so have fun keeping up with everyone who can now keep up with you.

So going back to the question at hand. We now have a better ban system. Players are bit more likely to not have their champ banned with the hover system unless the other team bans them. So is there any chance of regular URF coming back at least as a separate mode from ARURF? I mean Riot could at least give it a shot. Ever since they changed it to ARURF it feels like all the original fun of the gamemode has been drained out of it. Being able to play your favorite champion whether they were good at the mode or not, being able to pick whatever champ you want to try a random ass build that only works in URF. Picking Hecarim or Jax every game because you have a weird fixation on helicopters. I know there are some people out there that will read this and comment something to make you sound like a know it all and that ARURF is the only way to balance it out because there's always those people that do (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE). But, even making the original URF a yearly April Fool's thing would be absolutely amazing.
