You thought autofill would result in faster queue times...

But you didn't account for the sheer number of players that dodge because they're not going to be held hostage in a game playing a role they're not good at. I cannot tell you how many times I have been in a pregame lobbies back to back that involved multiple players dodging.

I que'd Mid/Jungle earlier, got mid 5 times in a row (someone dodged all 5) and on the 6th match, I autofilled to support (of course no one dodged that time right?) Why is this allowed to happen?

OMG you hit the nail on the head here! This happens to me sooooo often. I get my roles, people dodge nonstop until I get autofilled and no one dodges. Fuckin drives me insane. It happens to me EVERYTIME I'm not protected from auto-fill. It gets so frustrating now that I'll dodge myself or highlight some troll pick to support with in order to force a dodge.

But you're right though. There has been a significant increase in dodging since permanent auto-fill. At first I liked it because of the faster queue times but now it's just bad.

I dont think that was the reason they enabled autofill. What it really does is allow people like me to put support secondary and still get our main 40 to 50 percent of the time. At least thats what ive seen
