Did you guys silently nerf yellow essence?

So, firstly, i take most of my info from sites like ff@20 and similar. A while ago i was looking for info on this essence change, and i saw a specific article that said "yellow essence is gonna be untouched from the changes", a Rioter said this.

With that in mind i just neglected the yellow essence part of hextech to focus on ip and champion shards farming.

Days before the new upgrade an info pops up saying that for maximum value we should disenchant champion shards now. Alright cool whatever, i'm doing that already. It didn't even touch my mind that you could be possibly be including yellow essence too since i already had the information about no plans about changing yellow essence in account.

Now the new system is up and each of my skin shard (like 25, with epics and legendaries scattered among those) is worth approximatively 20% less, while still costing the same yellow essence to craft, and we got no yellow essence to compensate the change.

Would it have been hard to put a message up that said clearly that yellow essence was gonna be nerfed too since you did it for champion shards? Take it that i got my info on the yellow essence from a post from someone of riot, not a random dude on the streets. I feel like news so important should have been higlighted way more strongly.

I feel cheated, moreso that i didn't get any of the difference in yellow essence for all those shards that i had. Even if you say that shards are gonna drop more often now, you still devalued the items in my inventory, and punished me (and most likely not only me) for taking you as a valuable source of information.

Please tell me that you plan on giving a yellow essence compensation for this thing like you did with the blue essence compensation you worked out for runes. Im so sad dude [zombie-nunu-bummed]

edit: it's actually way more than 20% it's something like 40% if you really are not gonna give us something for all the shards i had in my inventory im gonna lose my fucking mind dude
