Hi Meddler, could you please consider other ways to nerf Evelynn if you must?

I've played over a hundred games of Evelynn, and have gotten very used to being able to use her W freely. Suddenly adding a 40 Mana cost feels horrid because when I never had to think about Mana cost for using it, suddenly I have to. You say she's a difficult champion, but this'd just make her more difficult to play because you increased decision-making around her W.

Her W is also used for movement speed inbetween camps rather than just for combat, so limiting her use there would also nerf her jungling speed.

I get that you want to make her more gated by Mana (she runs OOM enough as opposed to someone like Vayne tbh), but could you consider upping the cost on her Q, E or Ultimate instead? We'll still have bad Mana management and Evelynn will still be worse, but she won't feel as terrible due to suddenly introducing a new aspect of decision-making to her W.

Lastly, I understand she looks strong due to winrate and whatnot, but I don't think it's very fair to compare her the likes of, for example, Azir in "complexity". Evelynn mechanically isn't incredibly complex, but she requires a lot of decision-making and generally rewards a certain level of risk you take with good returns.

Evelynn sitting close to a 50% winrate should honestly indicate she's pretty balanced. Her kit isn't too mechanically complex (you mash Q and then point-click E a target of preference), so judging her on that basis feels unfair. Her stealth does require some finesse to use, but I wouldn't say it requires as much finesse and practice as does Azir. Put simpler, her skill cap, I feel, is lower than champions like Azir, even Kalista and Jinx.

TL;DR: please don't nerf her by introducing complexity in decision-making on her W by introducing a Mana cost. If you absolutely feel you must increase her in-combat Mana issues, please do so by looking at Mana costs for Q, E and R instead of W's. Thanks.
