Did everyone forget that Rito constantly nerfs Zhonya, because they don't like the fact it hard counters Zed, but Hexdrinker/MoM hard counters ANY AP burst + gives you chance to kill the oponent (!!!), but that's ok? AS removal on Lifegrip did NOT solve the problem!

And nowhere did you say anything about them being defensive against AD burst. Newsflash: Sterak's works just as well against AD burst as well.
