Surrendering During Series Games

Riot, Can you implement some sort of system where if there is a player in their series on the team, you need all 5 votes to be yes for a successful surrender? I just got finished with a game due to a surrender where I am in series (votes 4-1). I was doing great, told the team to stick in there and we can make it late game. They all did poorly in lane and forfeited right when 20 minutes hit. This isn't very fair (to me at least) since I had no say in having a chance to win a series game. I don't believe your team should have the power to take a series game away since some of us work hard to achieve higher ranks..

Not that your situation doesn't suck, but:

pretty sure a democratic, super-majority vote is pretty fair. More fair than unfair. And you did have a say.

Just because you didn't win the vote and change the minds of your allies in chat doesn't mean you didn't have a say.

Also actually getting your way in this situation/getting Riot to back you is: forcing people to do what you want without their votes mattering.

Which is kind of the exact opposite of having a voice. With some unfairness, as 1 person is a little more equal than others.

I personally think that riot should increase the amount of time for surrendering in a ranked game at least. Make it 30 minutes in ranked. That way, it is already heading into the lategame usually, and that is where teams begin to start turning it around. Or just remove surrender entirely, as it is abused by little shits who cant just wait out a game.

Did you tell them it was your series and ask them to keep trying for you?
