Its been a while since her MiniRework, or like I like to call them: Champion Update. So did her update achieve the goals that were set out for her? Do you think she in a good condition right now? Or might need some additional changes?
Linna Excel2 votesAs I see it, the tank update will either have all support tanks on the list, or no support tanks on the list. I think there are itemization issues that need to be solved as well as XP issues. Support tanks aren't really tanks because they don't generally get enough gold to buy a lot of items and they don't get enough XP to have base health that everyone else in the game has. So you can't half ass that.
TBH, putting tanks in the support role, while a good decision for ADCs was a bad decision for the class.

I really don't get how Sion support works, because his base health is low af and he can't even CS to stack up his W.

Personally I hope they get rid of that awkward Incandescence mechanic on her ulty and put that damage back into her abilities, as well as give her kit some AD ratios.

I'd prefer more AP ratios tbh. And I'd love a better solo passive since I really like the idea of Leo jg/top.

In fact, the Incandesence mechanic was made specially to give her autos some punch between ability rotations; having some AD does the same thing, and it makes last hitting much easier.

Triforce is incredibly expensive, so probably not gonna become meta as long as Leo remains a support. Don't think AD ratios would help too much, as her ability damage is still largely magic damage, and if that sees a change I'd expect her early damage to be weaker bot lane with no hybrid damage from her + ADC.

AD ratios giving magic damage isn't a bad thing at all. Corki makes great use of it, and Morde would if Riot hadn't thrown him in the trash. It helps give a character more mixed damage so they have relevant damage after bases wear off. Normally this is done with %HP or true damage, but I'd say those two are overused as it is. As a tank, having relevant damage is important for drawing aggro.
Finally, if you give Leo more (or better) AP ratios, you overpower her. High damage tanks like Amumu and Sej can get away with that because they have less lockdown than other tanks do. Leo is the queen of CC, so more AP is just going to encourage players to go full AP to turn her into a burst mage with two stuns and a root. Think Annie on steroids. That's not going to end well.

Problem is... what are you gonna build on her? Triforce into tank, with a Titanic?

Nvm, that's not so bad. Just that, after that (if she even got Titanic over tank items, but then why do her scalings even matter), she'd go full tank because Black Cleaver gives armor shred she can't easily apply or use herself, and there aren't any other items for her to build that would interact with her AD scalings.

The goal was to give her something to do after her combo. And to keep it power neutral. Were these accomplished? If not to what extend? Did the changes improve her playstyle or did they do the opposite?
Sexy Jack Rabbit1 votesOverall it seems likely they'll just change her base numbers. Meddler mentioned in another post that they're not sure they will do minor champion updates in the Vanguard update. Good thing imo, they always end up problematic.
