Ulting as shyvana and getting caught on a caitlyn snare in a bush you were ulting over feels bad man.

I love Shyvana. She just feels great as a champion. I love her kit, how she works, how relentlessly bashing someone in the face gives her bonuses to all her abilities and how she's naturally got really tough skin. But I really feel that she needs CC-immunity during her ult's jump. After she lands she should be susceptible as normal.

It just feels bad to reach that level 6 or have that 100 fury boiling up inside you for so long, when suddenly you see your enemies huddled in fear as you shed your human form and take flight, descending upon them in an inferno of scales and teeth... unless you get flicked by a chain. (Thresh)

Shyvana isn't doing very well right now. Her E's base damage was "nerfed" (it was higher than intended) and with botrk, randuins, and banshee's veil nerfed she's not nearly a strong pick anymore. We may see her back in the jungle in season 5, but even though she has absurd clear times she still loses a bunch of duels 1v1 in the jungle, and her ganks are terrible (especially if she just gets cc'd out of her ult).

I would like a cc applies at end of jump excluding displacement cc such at hooks knock ways knock ups etc

I always thought her ult was a bit clunky, it "knocks up" but it doesn't really drag people to where she goes or anything, it kinda just looks like shes so big the game needs to automatically reposition champs shes standing on.

Her ult definitely needs some love. I've been playing a lot of Shyv jungle recently and I fully agree you should be CC immune during your leap. Also I've noticed she has been passing through a lot of sprites lately, and it feels terrible to position behind the enemy back line, ult at the squishies and instead fly over the entire fight without any enemy sprites moving with you. :/

Until Shyvana gets some love I recommend going jungling and build Feral Flare -not BotRK. I typically go Ravenous Hydra as my second damaging item. Hydra will give you more damage unless you're up against a tank and even then between a fed Flare and RH, it's likely to be negligible. Take Exhaust and ult over walls. They almost never see it coming and there's almost never time to react to it unless they've been playing for a long time. Exhaust will cover your lack of CC usually. It also weakens them as an added bonus. If you're worried about not having Flash, Shyv can ult over things to escape... and has a much shorter CD than Flash... so... yeah, not necessary.
