When I'm behind I can't not feed

A trend I've been noticing recently is that when I get behind I can't not feed. I don't know if it's the meta or new runes or what, but in the past if I was doing badly I could play safe and not die much. But now, if I lose even one or, god forbid, two kills to my lane partner I just die repeatedly. Out in lane, under my tower, back in my base, doesn't matter. It feels impossible to stop their snowball. This makes it especially frustrating when someone ganks you twice in the first five minutes. Your lane is over, but you can' just leave it at that, you have to lose your lane spectacularly feeding them so many kills the game is over too. You jungler may as well not come, they'll just give your partner a double kill.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there some way to be even further under tower? I don't know, tell me if you've found a way.

well it depends on what champion you play and what champion you're playing against. i've never own a game playing Camille vs Urgot or Jayce so tell me when you find that one out.

Farming isn't very dangerous. You have to farm up, sacrifice objectives or pressure for it if you can't face the enemy.

Keep vision, predict that people will sit in bushes that you are going to push towards. If you are playing 1v2 top and they keep diving you then there really isn't much for you to do. It is important to keep vision on your jungle, maybe you'll be able to collapse on somebody somewhere while you wait for a wave to push closer etc.

Many things that vary each game.

Buy 1 or 2 cheap defensive items (Tabi, Chain Vest, Seekers if AP) and farm up. I recently started many games going 0-2 because mistakes were made. I often could recover by going somewhere else or farming up. You can always sell your defensive items later or upgrade them.
