State of the Jungle
So from playing the jungle since the start of the season (and long before that even) I have made a few observations
Top 3 Junglers (arguably):
Pretty self explanatory why he's good. High mobility damage early game. Having played against Lee so many times, for the most part I just stay away from him.
Again, mobile and damaging. Perma PIck or Ban.
Honestly after her nerfs she's still very good. Although playing her and seeing her being played I can say if you have a strong peel like
or even
its a good counter to her. In some cases, depending of her farm and kills, just a complete negation.
Jungle Items:
Pretty much every one gets this. The more CC the merrier. True damage has dealt the killing blow many times.
I still get this whenever I jungle
since he has the speed and stun to lock down a target, while like wise not wanting to get killed by the target. But if you can't stick to your target then there isn't much point in getting it. Even in
's case if you're ahead on kills and snowballing you probably don't even need it, and if your very behind it may not be enough to catch you up.
Honestly, if you 100% need this item to jungle (and by that I don't mean, "I just want to farm faster") I mean if your jungler cannot jungle without it then you probably should't be playing that jungler. If your counter to that is you're playing a jungler who has a big gank power spike at lvl such as
do you really want to have to wait till lvl 6 to gank, while the enemy jungler has already ganked 2,3, or even 4 times. The jungle may not have as much influence as before, but if the enemy jungler is ganking and giving/getting kills it's gonna be a tougher mid game. God forbid the enemy
get a kill....
I tend to forget this item even exists. I have not seen anyone get this in a very long time. It's hard enough to clear your own jungle much less worry about trying to counter jungle. The one who this item would even kind of make sense on is
but with his clear speed it makes much more sense to use that extra time to try and gank vs. trying to steal and enemy camp (which probably isn't even spawned even anyway)
I'm not gonna sit here and complain about how the jungle is nerfed or how under powered anyone else is. We all know what the problems are. I just hope Riot delivers on their promise of "Diversity" and a better jungle.
