So everyone knows about the huge "Assassin Rework" that's coming to Summoner's Rift in the next season. If not, you've been living in a cave... It's all been announced by Riot who's receiving big changes, and who's receiving minor changes. But mainly, I want to know your opinions on Akali's rework. Do you think its a buff, or a nerf? Personally I think it's neither a nerf, nor a buff, but just simply changing her playstyle a bit. But then again, I would say that, since her passive changed, she would have more early laning sustain, rather than her late-game team fight sustain, having the spell vamp + Gunblade.

Buff for sure, the jump on her invis is just a nice bonus, and her passive is better

It's basically a net nerf. Her E and R got nerfed with no compensation and her W is being screwed with in a manner that most Akali players are against. The only buff she got was not being revealed by pinks anymore. Everything else has basically been a nerf.

Someone ran the numbers on the original PBE patch, and they were straight damage nerfs to her, but I think the changes overall make her much healthier and give her the opportunity to be compensated for the damage nerfs.

Yeah, It's definitely a nerf. The Passive is screwy and her AA is awkward to land as it is, let alone two. She'll be in that awkward pause most diana players face on landing their third AA (only with out the AA bonus) Her ult basically does half damage than what it used to.
