Stashu, you lied to us. Again.

You said you'd keep working on Cass until she was as good as she could be. Now you've got Rioters coming on the boards and saying they don't see the point in changing her because she's strong, and pre-rework Cass players are facing our worst fear. We were so scared that as soon as she became strong, Riot would say "B-b-b-but her win rate is good! So clearly you all love her! My work here is done!"

Lo and behold, Stashu lied to Cass players again. Who would have friggin' thought.

"Cuz all that really matters is balance. Screw fun."

The TL;DR: for whenever someone doesn't like a change and Riot doesn't want to change the change.

Well I think it is safe to say that Stashu has now become the worst dev working at Riot. Downright disappointing, I had hopes that he would listen but it seems he went and actually turned out WORSE than RiotScruffy did (who seems to have learned somewhat from his mistakes with Skarner and Rengar).

I hadn't thought a dev could do worse than Scruff did during the early phases of the Skarner Rework, but congratulations Stashu, you done and did it. Nicely done, truly excellent phenomenal A-Grade work.

Now excuse me as I walk away from this keyboard shaking my head in disgust and disappointment.

Stashu has quite a good track record on continuing engagement with a rework post-launch. I don't think anyone at Riot has done it better, in fact.

Cassiopeia can still use some tweaking, but that's what it's going to be. Riot isn't going to move away from the E-centric kit they've chosen. Expect tweaks to how the passive scales, maybe some power smoothing (less late, more mid?), but don't expect Riot to change their mind about nerfing Cass poison damage.

I think they are probably pretty content with the results here. That doesn't mean you will be, unfortunately.

Dude, devs are people. If you want people to help you, you can't be a well of negativity like this. You haven't even given him the space to fail to live up to your expectations, and you're already trashing the guy.

Well, they think she is good, and they think she is as good as she can be, so not really lying, you just don't like the current results.

The sad thing is, now that Cass actually has a very high win rate you get all these people coming on the boards downvoting the Cass fans just because they want their OP champ. "I can get easy wins with her, leave her alone!!!". May as well be Lee Sin players.

I mean her power level WAS a big problem pre-4.21 because even if the style was good you can't have fun with constant losses. But her being strong does not solve all the problems with the rework at all and when she gets nerfed all the people who are happy with their OP champion are just gonna disappear anyway.

If she remains in her current state, she's just Ryze 2.0. Finding the best chain, then spamming it non-stop.

doubleguac1/14/2015, 6:37:21 PM4 votes

Can you elaborate on why you're not happy still? She's incredibly strong at the moment. Her power curve is much more manageable. She still does a lot of damage with twin fangs, but she has regained some of her DoT. What exactly is the problem?

Obviously the initial rework was awful, but Stashu has been very involved with the community trying to fix it ever since. At this point, I feel like people aren't going to be happy until the rework is just completely reverted. She's not going to be exactly the same as she was before. All things considered, I think Stashu has done a good job listening to community feedback and incorporating as much of it as possible into her rework.

Cass is pretty weak until the 30-34 minute mark, then she power spikes into stupidity. OVerall though, she's pretty boring.

squirrelah1/14/2015, 6:21:07 PM4 votes

cass is annoying as shit to play against if you are melee.

InbredFeeder1/14/2015, 6:07:24 PM4 votes

Cass is perfectly fine as she is.... are you asking to give her more power then, a MS passive boost, aoe slow, reset and aoe stun?

SexyTaylorSwift1/14/2015, 6:56:26 PM3 votes

Hello, I believe I have an answer to your question. After the rework, people bought Cass and skins. If they were to put any more effort into her, they would not sell her and skins to people that have already bought her. Therefore, they don't want to waste time on something that isn't going to give them maximum money.

uhg another one of these...

atleast i can understand the nerf Lee Sin and J4 threads.

this comment has been hidden due to low rating from raging cass fans who dont realize nobody cares so they have to flood the boards to get attention

(pls downvote this im getting a skin if i get 15 downvotes)

cass is borderline op atm... the fuk you talking about?

are so bad that you need her to deal 10k dmg at level one??

Junkο1/14/2015, 7:25:09 PM2 votes

Didn't see that coming
