Arbiter Vel'Koz is a waaaaaay better name than Arclight Vel'Koz
They changed it to Arclight on the PBE. Riot pls, it's way cooler as Arbiter, makes him sound like less of a yellow electricity monster and more like a friggin' GOD.

what has this skin to do with electricity? I mean arclight also implies the power of light.
However I agree that arbiter sounds cooler.
He fits the Archlight theme though with the way he looks. So that's probably why they changed it... instead of having a "new" theme, they are trying to make some skins fit more with current themes.
I would have went for Justicar over Arclight, maybe.
Just like Dauntless sounded better than Challenger. Arclight sort of fits the theme with Varus but Arbiter definitely sounded better
People petitioned Riot to change it to Arclight.
Its clearly arclight themed..... they should go ahead and change malzahars release skin to arc light as well. Start a whole new arc light club, where you can..... arc light
Thinking abit about the skin themes it actually fits arclight well Arclight seems to be a skin series where "dark"-champs get light powers,but the way they are seen doesn't really change.Arclight varus is still corrupted in the inside and hates the noxians,while arclight vel'koz is still pretty much a monster that floats around disintegrating stuff to analyze them.
On the other hand the justicar line shows dark champions in the form of heroes,sure their quotes show that they aren't that good by any means,but their role is a more positive one,while the arclight line doesn't undermine the "bad" aspects of the character.
seriously whats the problem, dauntless ahri, cyber ops yasuo, arbiter vel'koz. they sounded way better then the current ones
I prefer Arbiter too. If Vel'Koz was going to have a what if good side, I doubt it'd be Arclight like Varus, as Vel'Koz was never 'good' to begin with. Justicar makes more sense in that aspect.
Still, Arbiter is far superior. It gives Vel'Koz the deity-like outlook he deserves.
It's the Challenger Ahri problem all over again.

Riot seems to be on a roll with renaming skins to make them less awesome (see: Dauntless Ahri). Hopefully they change their mind with this one. Not every skin needs to fit a pre-existing theme, and Arbiter Vel'Koz is a WAY cooler name than Arclight. Consider this my vote towards a name change.
