Query: Sudden Impact, Champs Like Riven, and Common Hatred of Lethality Items??

If many a number of players hate how busted Lethality can be, due to how much extra damage its causing to be thrown around, why does Sudden Impact let characters like Yasuo /Riven /Akali /Khazix who have or CAN HAVE extremely low CDs on their abilities that would proc Sudden Impact, essentially have what I'd call a Permanent Extra 10 Lethality & 8 Magic Pen from the start of the game.

Sudden Impact: After EXITING Stealth, or using a Dash, Leap, or Teleport, dealing any damage grants 10 Lethality & 8 Magic Pen for 5 Seconds CD of 4.

Regardless of whether this Leth/MPen activates only after dealing damage and then you have it, these ARE champs who have something of a way to mitigate damage after creating the opening to activate it, making their 1v1 potential asinine.

With Certain Builds, namely The Max CDR build, which is Unsealed Spellbook, Cosmic Insight, and Lethality items(and or Black Cleaver,) cause they all have freaking CDR, and the option to grab Lucid Boots, which results in 30%-40%CDR(W/ or w/o Lucid Boots) on Summoner Spells, and 45%CDR for abilities, a Riven, Yas, or Akali who gets ahead can be utterly oppressive, though I find Riven the most annoying with this style considering the disgusting size of her Shield from E, and the fact at max rank she can Shield herself every 3 seconds practically.

Is Sudden Impact a rune that should be nerfed(like fucking Klepto)??? I think it should if only by increasing the overall CD to maybe 8 or 10, along with, or just primarily Unsealed Spellbook's passive Summ Spell CDR... Cause Ignite every 2 minutes, Flash/TP every 3. Heal every 2Min20Sec, is a bit obnoxious, when Lethality lets them burst you, and just about anyone else if they got ahead, and you're not shutting them down with every CC your team can throw at them.

Course I'm fine, also, with Nerfing Lethality directly, or the amount of passives/stats thrown into the Lethality items. They all give CDR, which lends to this annoying pro-diving build. Duskblade turns you into a ward destroying monster with (stupidly easy for some)Conditional Bonus Damage, Youmuu is the chasers best friend, and Edge of Night rare as it is, is your knock-off Banshee Veil. Though as far these items go, its mostly Duskblade that I'd address that can lose a passive and/or stat and still be stupidly effective.

As far as the Poll Goes, I tried to make it as fair and varied as possible

Edit 1: Poll Option 5 to be clear means: "What you're saying can be agreed upon, but what you perceive as problems, are Balanced"

I think you're overestimating the impact of sudden impact a bit, 10 lethality seems like a lot but it isn't that much, the problem with lethality was that it was(/is) so easy to get 60-70 lethality, basically giving enemies negative armor. 10 lethality sure increases your damage, but if your enemy buys any armor, can even be ninja tabi or a GA or just late game passive armor scaling, you basically lose this damage. in addition to that, you take the 10 lethality instead of lots of other things that are equally strong so I wouldn't say it needs nerfing.

I may so be, but at the same time, I'm thinking about the "Very beginning of the match" how many are taking armor out the gate, so they're ready for that lvl 2 gank from a super annoying jungle, as your opponent collapses on top of you, making your already low base armor, seem even worse :3

Actually, now I wonder if Pantheon can use it when he stuns.... cause while its point and click it does make him leap or w/e to the position.

yea at the beginning of the game its pretty strong i guess but it gets negligable pretty fast. also it does proc on panth w and his ult too

Well... I'd say that makes Panth fairly oppressive just by hitting lvl 2 o_o

I think this is definitely an issue worth looking into. Maybe Sudden Impact should have a longer cooldown to encourage smarter or more balanced trading?
