Sion's passive predicament.

While Sion's passive can be scary and strong (good for him, yay), it doesn't proc off many item passives that would otherwise make him far more threatening and not so easily kited for 2 seconds (as more often tends to be the case).

Furor and Trinity Force don't proc during his passive, meaning what would normally address the incredibly easy counter of slows is no longer capable of doing its job (boo). This puts Sion in a place of basically just being the boogeyman for the couple of seconds that he has before he's rendered useless either by the distance the enemy has put between him and them or a slow or two on him instead (which renders this part of him clear countered by Rylai's and Frozen Mallet, as well as basically half the champion pool).

Ravenous also doesn't proc on his attacks, though this is a little more reasonable due to the fact that the potential damage output during this period would allow Sion to shred entire teams if they were locked down.

In all honesty, I really thing that just allowing the passives that enable him to be more sticky should still proc just to make him a little less laughable and a lot more of an actual threat rather than the giant scarecrow he currently is (because that's Fiddles' job). It'd be as simple as allowing boots or Trin Force to remain activated during the passive (I noticed that actives are greyed out due to being unusable, and it'd be simple to just create exceptions).

Uh, no. I don't know about trinity force and Furor, (that is a big problem and a huge bug if they don't proc) but Ravenous Hydra will always do its passive AOE, Riot said this specifically, along with it not applying the 10% max health damage, only the normal splash damage.

Really? In my experience it has been flighty and would either work on hit or just not work at all and not apply the effects.

Frozen Mallet procs though for his passive. I've done it on numerous occasions. I get Furor anyways. While it doesn't proc with his pasive, it makes him a beast more so than he is already.

This- With the health you should be building on him because your a tank anyway, frozen mallet is core if you ever want the passive to do anything.

I mean, that goes without saying, but if they're already running by the time you're transitioning into your passive, then there's not much else you can do to catch up if they just slow you in your speed burst. Furor and Trinity I've used countless times to auto minions or other champs in order to get the speed boost required to catch back up, so having them just for some reason not work a lot of the time is upsetting.

This and Frozen heart are two core imo, the sticking power is just too good when you have these.

Never actually been killed by his passive once, and I've been against Sions just about every game since the rework. He's so easy to CC once he goes zombie it's not even funny.

I have seen Trinity Force work during his passive, however the Hydra passive only seemed to work every three autos.

Yep his passive is pointless. I'd rather have bonus 5 armor all game dead serious

His Passive is one thing but what about the rest of his kit, Talk about the easiest ult to dodge ever and his Q... why have an ability that you're almost never going to be able to use to it's full potential?

Not saying he's really good. Just like everyone, if played right, he wrecks. Certain play styles call for certain builds, but I have found Frozen Mallet on him to be most useful. Not saying the passive will work in your favor, but I'm trying to do what I can to maximize NOT dying. No reason to plan to die.

You don't so much plan to die as plan for dying. If that makes sense?
