Where did Vi go?

I havent seen one in game in ages. She used to be one of the best ADC killer's from the jungle and then she just vanished. I know she was never played allot but now the champions just gone.

She's not good in the current meta.

Ok, you press r on an ADC, what now? It starts getting shields and then deletes you while healing? They build a QSS and walk away? You die going for it and suddenly the teamfight is 4v5?

Vi just a victum of the meta, is she weak? No. Is she strong? No. She's just inbetween but the job she does is completely worthless until some changes about bot meta gets changed.

Its worth mentioning Vi was only VIable earlier strictly because other assassins were problematic which she hard countered (R'd kha, rengar, Elise, Lee, one shot ADC 2k17 lul) and she was one of the few champions with a healthy fast clear in the new jungle. (before other tanks and junglers suddenly became relevant again). Now however, assassins are weak so she doesn't counter anything important, ADCs don't die easily so that job isn't great, and other tanks do what she does better with more survivability.

Vi presses R and doesn't do enough damage and dies too quick. Maokai presses W, doesn't need to do damage really, and lives for a very long time. Which is your preference?

When Vi's strong, she's easily too strong.

When Vi's not strong, her kit's way too 1 dimensional. She also falls off rather hard and rather easily.

She's unviable according to meta. Personally I think She's decent but outclassed by other junglers.

Why play Vi when you can play Sejuani? Or Maokai? It is a tank meta, she shouldnt be used anymore unless buffed

Vi can build tank though, but i guess from her skills just he passive is not enough and without actual damage she cant kill backline anymore.

Vi shouldn't build full tank though. Her damage falls off too much without it and she's got no CC.

That's how this game works, metas change and some champions die, and get forgotten.

Skarner has more then just meta problems

He has flawed kit and lack of concern to riot simply because nobody talks about him lol. He another "needs a VGU" like volibear but apparently he's lower on the priority list, considering they only talk about akali, panth, morg, kayle, nunu, morde, and add in about 5 other mentions.

I really miss her :(

She was really strong last season, I had a 64% win rate on her over 151 games. This season I only have 56% over 131 games...

I love Vi's personality and visual design, but her gameplay is super toxic, either she can survive squishy champ burst and then is beyond broken because she herself deals unbelievable amounts of damage and has super low counterplay OR she can't survive the burst and she is 1 shot rather easily. Best way to play her right now is full lethality and trying to catch someone out and 1 shot them, if you go tanky you will just get stomped by Janna/Lulu or whatever tumor healer is op at the very moment with their 10 000 shields and heals.
