What are your thoughts on the new zyra update?

I played zyra support today and I have to say that I hated it. I haven't tested her out on mid yet but I guess she won't be any better there either. The reason I'm saying this is because of her passive. Her passive feels so damn random, one time a seed was spawned in front of the enemy who was far away from me approximately 2 Q's far. Also her passive early on is just plain useless. Its useless in so many ways. It's random, its slow, its vulnerable, plants do very little damage and have a survivability of a few minion hits. Her whole kit was reworked around the idea of her plants but her plants are useless. They deal less damage they are more vulnerable and feel lackluster than before. My perspective is this, does anyone tested her out, and has a different opinion? I may just play her wrong?

Don't rely on your passive seeds for damage. Yes they are random, but they do spawn often enough to make use of them in lane. When RNG is in your favor and a decent seed spawns go ahead and spawn it for some poke with your W seeds. punish people will they try to step on them. and don't hesitate to save your W seeds.

They go to step on your seeds, you W Q/E and punish them. Her damage is overall lower early, but her poke is still good as a support. Honestly if you like mage supports try Brand he got buffed pretty hard. I've also heard Malz is doing well down there

Play Zyra top lane, your opponents cant do anything :)

Her kit wasn't reworked around her Passive at all. Her Kit was always designed around her seeds.

Literally the only thing that really changed was her Q and her Passive.

I totally disagree. I love the new support zyra and her passive. 2-0 so far and plan on stomping more in the next few days!

There's your problem, you need what's called a greedy support page. Go 9x magic pen marks + 3x magic pen quints + 9x magic pen glyphs. For seals you want SOME kind of bulk to ya so 4x flat armor seals and 5x flat hp seals. This set up will get you 20 flat magic pen, add haunting guise and thats 35. If you REALLY need it (i usually always go sorc boots over lucidity because cdr is rather abundant in items) Go sorc boots. 50 flat magic pen. Zyra's ap scaling is rather bad so build as much flat pen as you can and melt people with liandry's. You force them to rush some mr or to get poked to death every time they step back into lane.

Why is passive and W the same? Instead, seed carrying capacity should increase with W rank. Passive should be something else. Plants should last longer, and their viability should be measured by one bar, not two (either health, timer, or a decaying time health timer- but only one meter).
