then proceeds to say that nothing will change, so basically they dont give a shit about how the fucked over rengar players, then wont even acknowledge it.

Has any champ main suffered quite like Rengar mains? I mean even Mordekaiser mains got shit on, but they kinda came clean and said they'd do another passover on that one.
I think the real tilt for me here-- and I don't even really like Rengar that much (not new Rengar anyway)-- is that Riot's always so cavalier about being assholes here despite always saying 'we listen to the community promise!'...

So the comment you linked was actually not the one you made the post about. The first comment the rioter made doesn't mean that rengar won't change. It means that Rengar is not a currently running project. That's not the same as "nothing will change". Im surprised you got upvoted with this post.

eve main here, you rengar mains sound so entitled, we had to wait 2 years to get any meaningful changes and you guys can't even wait until the end of season where they are more likely to work on his changes.

The thing is, a few people started complaining about Rengar and all of a sudden 90% of people that use the boards started jumping onto this revert Rengar bandwagon. A new champion is the source of complaints every week. You probably don't even play Rengar. You probably made this thread for easy upvotes.
Contrary to popular belief, Riot does consider community feedback, with a grain of salt. They think things over and consider the effects of changes. They can't just give in every time a topic gets popular and go "okay boards wants Rengar changes we'll add his revert this patch. Oh right people seem to hate Yasuo and Fiora so we'll delete them."

They are also saying there are problems that are more important to deal with or problems they are more likely to find a solution to.
Man just chill at first I was like you too, thinking that they just said hi to shut us up but it shows that they know that us rengar mains are unhappy with it. It means in the near future things will change, i dont think they will leave it like this. Rather then make these hate threads like most rengar mains have been doing, propose ideas(even if you arent a rengar main) because if they listen to are outcry of angry they may listen to our ideas as well.
Posts like this is why they decide to stay silent instead. For once they actually responded, which is great, don't be spiteful just because it wasn't the response you wanted. And no they didn't say he couldn't get changes, he said there were no current plans and that they were taking your words into consideration and talking about them amongst themselves. He also stated that when they don't respond it is because they want to get their statement in order so that it is not misconstrued. It was not a statement about Rengar, but a statement saying they are listening and can't give an official statement/decision at the time. So please calm down, I would like to have statements like these continue so that we at least know we're heard and aren't waiting in anticipation to find out that much. I would hate for them to decide that they will always be misconstrued like you are doing and never do one again.
