getting an S in aram is like impossible
last game i was 2/0/48 janna (we only got 56 kills so i almost had 100% part.) in a 23min game with 18 cs (its aram ok)
and i got a B

Just looked back when I got an S and S- on Zillean and Lulu. (Also on ARAM)
I still had the best CS and the highest gold on the team. So I suspect that it's still important.

It compares your score with the best ones, which means there are players out there who got a better kda/cs ratio than what you have there and as such you cannot be given the best score.

It was a couple of months ago. But probably CS, cause Janna's actually pretty good at clearing waves with a mana regen and maxed Q constantly stopping waves hitting turrets on ARAM.
A lot of the time in ARAM it comes down to your personal skill and the team comps of both sides. If you get an assassin you are really good with and the enemy team is full of tanks and juggernauts, you're probably not getting an S rank that game. Or if you do, it's much harder to achieve than if the enemy team had five immobile squishies instead.
Janna is particularly difficult to S rank, since even one death can doom you. And even if you don't die, you better be sending tornadoes right down the minion wave constantly to grab all the CS you can.
