Last year you responded to a post saying he was being looked at, where is he now? Did you scrap that idea and restart?

And for the community, what do you think of cho? Too OP in mid right now?

CopyPasting my rant from reddit: His silence is his "bread and butter" ablility, and it enables him to land q (enemy cannot dash away) and some autos and ult. I assume you are talking about AP mid Cho'Gath, but although he can 1shot carries, he is incredibly immobile and needs flash to oneshot from not point blank range and his q is incredibly easy to dodge without being CC'd, and right now tank cho isnt to great compared to ap because of his long static cooldowns (9 seconds on Q, 13 on W)

For ideas of a rework, I think they should look into they grows with ult (Still keep his current ult, its his defining ability) and levels and incorporate that into all of his abilities where as he gets bigger and more dangerous, like nasus where he is a god late if not taken care of early. They should keep his immobility and amazing aoe. Riot could also make him a sustain tank like Maokai or Gragas. Or if riot decides to make cho still be able to play as a AP mid or AP tank top, make it so when he builds more AP side he stays smaller and is more vulnerable with more AP like skills but if he's played tank he is larger and his abilities work as low damage aoe cc moves.

Since I'm on a roll about Cho'Gath I'll talk about what I want visually. Iron Stylus said he wanted Cho to be a "Kaiju of the void". I think they can work well with that by giving him sea creature like characteristics but I hope they still keep his smarts and not turn him into Rek'Sai's dumber meatier older brother. His visual appearance should appear weak and vulnerable early (exposed cracks in his hard armor-like skin showing his weaker smooth skin) but as he stacks ult and levels up gets grows large chitin and is more like a walking brick wall that you want to stay away from.

So thats my Cho'Gath love/Vu rant. Waddaya think?

I feel like Cho'Gath is intended to be an AP off-tank with his CDs as his defining weakness: he misses his abilities, and you have a clear window to strike back in.

Having his entire kit change based on his ult stacks seems utterly overcomplicated to me. Visual changes based on it could be a possible ultimate skin for him (another).

Cho is fine. He is an immobile melee with an easy to dodge skillshot. If you dodge the q you are fine.

Honestly I like Cho'Gath as he is. I think he's in a healthy spot. He has clear windows of opportunity for his opponent to hurt him if he missed his Q or used his silence at the wrong time, and if he's shut down early he's not a threat, but at the same time if left unchecked he becomes a walking devouring machine. He has burst damage and sustain but he's highly immobile to make up for it. The only thing I would like to see is maybe a small effect change if he's at max stacks or something
