Is alistar too good?
He seems to be a very contested pick in LCK. I don't follow LCS but he seems to be the winning point of many teams, however there are multiple occasions where he himself is the downfall.

Alistar is the best support pick in the game currently for many, many reasons. He has very powerful engage and disengage tools, and his ultimate is blatantly overpowered. It's that simple. He is valued in all regions of competitive play because there is never a wrong champion or situation to pick him in. So, yes, he is always strong, and he is too strong, mainly because of his ultimate.
Do you have an change suggestions?I was thinking removing some power from his ultimate and shifting it towards his passive.
Honestly, all they need to do is revert the change they made to his ultimate many patches ago where they made it 70% at all ranks and make it 40>55>70 at levels 6, 11, and 16. He does not need a CC removal tool coupled with 7 seconds of flat damage reduction when it reduces THAT much damage. At level 16 I am okay with the current number.
He's a situational champ best used in conjunction with other knock-up champs, especially Yasuo.
But there is so much value placed on him in the LCK. It feels like the "situation" for him to be strong is nearly always.
and
is my fav lane pairing. Sometimes I'll go support if I see her as the ADC.
Ali kalista is probably the strongest combo (when played the way hes meant to be played) in all of bot lane
I personally think ali is really broken late game due solely to his ult...
