Option to turn off auto fill protection please

Can there be an option to turn off auto fill protection? I'm currently having to wait 6-12 minutes in queue (normal draft) as support primary/mid secondary because auto fill protection is trying to "guarantee" me mid (as if I don't want my dirty primary role of support). Even though 95% of time after all that waiting I still get support (which I wanted in the first place). For reference, on average I only have to wait 1-5 minutes as supp/fill.

Now before someone says "well then why don't you just queue as supp/fill all the time": I don't want to risk getting adc or jg. When I get something that is not support with fill secondary, I usually get adc or jg :(

Also want to add that the increased queue time with auto fill protection has been happening for over a month and at all times of the day, so it isn't just a "you queued at a bad time" deal.

One of the reasons I became a support main was the faster queue times, auto fill protection is killing that. I like support, I don't need a consolation prize for playing the role I like.

I thought autofill protection only guaranteed you one of your selected roles? That's the message I have gotten after being autofilled. If one of those selected roles is support it should be included...

Sometimes queues are just long. Although the disparity sounds pretty bad.

Speaking of which I just had 3 queues declined then got autofilled support while typing this. Uugh. Not really usefull when the next games I'm going to play will all be without autofill activated as I was only planning to play 1 game this morning...

"You're guaranteed one of your selected roles this match because you recently filled or played support" is the message. (That game worked out well, I got an afk ADC - solo killed the enemy ADC 1v2 then got a remake and autofill protection for playing 3min of support :o )

I'm pretty sure auto-fill does not affect people that select Support as either of their roles. It only kicks in when it has to force someone that did not pick Support or Fill into Support so the system can actually start games.

If you've ever waited 5 minutes when you've queued as Support, then the real issue is that you are playing at super off-peak hours and there are not enough players or you are at an MMR range where there are few players to match you with so the system takes a while to expand the search.
