Tanks are OP

Although tanks generally have toxic designs (Nautilus Leona Nasus ), I think there are four main items and one overpowered mastery tree that make them really unbearable right now. These items are Sunfire Cape, Spirit Visage, Warmog's Armor, and Iceborn Gauntlets. And I will also tell you about some of the things in the mastery section that are too strong.

item 3068 Sunfire Cape is a really good item. Considering that you get armor and a high amount of HP. The HP makes it so this item is effective against mages as well. The passive from Sunfire Cape allows tanks such as Nautilus to deal a large amount of damage over time and generally give them the edge in 1v1 scenarios.

item 3065 Spirit Visage is like the MR Sunfire Cape, except its better. Spirit Visage allows tanks to abuse their innate heals. Tanks such as Nasus or Volibear are good examples. They both have large amounts of healing built into their kit, and with Spirit Visage it is largely amplified. To top it off, you also get 10% CDR.

item 3083 Warmog's Armor. Although this item offers an unfair amount of health, it is its synergy with Spirit Visage that makes it unfair. Tanks could be poked down bit by bit, but if they exit combat and have Spirit Visage along with Warmog's they will be able to reach max health in a matter of seconds. Considering tanks have low mana costs this basically means they don't have to go back to base to regen. They can exit a fight and come back fresh as ever.

item 3025 Iceborn Gauntlet is really good right now. It offers an insane amount of CDR, it offers high damage, it offers wave clear, and to top it all of it offers a low cool down aoe slow. This item is perfect for almost every tank. As a tank you will most likely have one form of hard cc, typically this cc is on a moderate to low cool down. If you have the CDR from Spirit Visage and IBG you will have low cool down hard cc. Now pair that up with the slow. While hard cc abilities are on cool down you can slow down your target and set them up for when you have more cc to throw at them.

Unyielding provides 5% more resists across the boards. This makes pretty much every tank item more efficient. Although it seems like a low number, it adds up late game.

Runic Armor, this mastery increase all shields, healing, regeneration, and lifesteal by 8%. So basically this synergizes with tank kits such as Nasus's and items such as Warmog's and Spirit Visage. 8% is huge by the way, especially when you are talking about health regen and health regen buffs which count as healing, theoretically this should increase healing by 16%.

Overall these things are overpowered, but my main concern is how well they synergize. If Riot wants to keep the synergy and passives that is cool, but I expect some stat nerfs on all of them (health and resists), and I would see no excuse for not nerfing Runic Armor. Runic Armor should definitely see a decrease from 8% to 5% if not lower.

Bruisers destroy tanks. They are not a problem

Bruisers also build similar items, by the way if you don't see tanks as a problem its most likely because you enjoy playing tanks. Try seeing the game without bias before you start looking about posts concerning balance.

Volibear and Nasus aren't tanks. At least Nasus isn't.
