Bard Passive Chime Stacks Guide

hello everyone! with the recent addition of bard, and the relative uncertainty of his kit, i took it upon myself to give a little bit of info regarding bards passive:

Essentially, Bards passive allows him to collect charms lying around the map that spawn in relatively random locations. Every FIFTH charm he collects, he gains an upgrade of some sort. The upgrade path looks like this: 5 Chimes- Thrown Meeps apply a 25% slow 10 Chimes- Thrown Meeps do (30 at 0 stacks) +25 additional magic Dmg (55) 15 Chimes- Gain +1 additional meeps 20 Chimes- Thrown meeps do +25 additional magic Dmg (80) 25 Chimes- Thrown meeps will now strike through the initial target in a cone, applying slow and dmg to all hit inside the cone 30 Chimes- Thrown meeps do +30 additional magic Dmg (110) 35 Chimes- Meeps reappear 1 second faster (12 at 0 stacks) (11) 40 Chimes- Thrown meeps do +30 additional magic Dmg (140) 45 Chimes- Thrown meeps apply a 45% slow 50 Chimes- Thrown meeps do +35 additional magic Dmg (175) 55 Chimes- Gain +1 additional meeps 60 Chimes- Thrown meeps do +35 additional magic Dmg (210) 65 Chimes- Increased cone width (this is actually huge) 70 Chimes- Thrown meeps do +35 additional magic Dmg (245) 75 Chimes- Meeps reappear 1 second faster (10) 80 Chimes- Thrown meeps do +35 additional magic Dmg (280) 85 Chimes- Thrown meeps apply a 60% slow 90 Chimes- Thrown meeps do +30 additional magic Dmg (310) 95 Chimes- Gain +1 additional meeps

Essentially, at 95 stacks you have: 4 meeps that you can hold, each meep deals base 310 magic dmg +AP, meeps deal damage in a pretty large cone, and meeps apply a 60% slow. Getting this many chimes isnt easy, however you can gain more than 95 stacks in theory (the highest i got to was 95). If you can get an infinite amount of stacks, then bards late game holds infinite potential, but i wouldn't be surprised if it is capped, or if they were to cap it. Also, for each chime you gain, you get a mobility boost. Chaining chimes will further increase this movement speed bonus.

Thanks for reading guys, Twiggs

Check out me and my friends recent game, i played bard and got i think 227 stacks. after 200 i think you only get 20 extra damage per 5 chimes. https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/4arh1z/longest_game_in_my_league_life/

Imagine if you could have infinite meeps. In one of those extremely long games where everyone's pretty pro so nobody dies, Bard could eventually have a procession of lane-long Meeps following him around... which would be so adorable.

Based on Surrender@20 any chimes after 165 just add +25 damage.

I love you for this post. Really helps explain the little bits. and the highest meep count i have ever gotten to was 120-something. but i cant imagine the meeps scaling up much further than you had listed here. if anything the damage and slow might still increase. i wish i had looked to see if i had 5 meeps at the end of that match. :/
