What does League of Legends mean to you?

Hey guys, i wanted to share what league of legends means to me.

I first started playing this game to bond with my roommate in college, and he later became one of my best friends. Also, halfway in my first semester in college, i went through a really bad depression. My classes were so stressful they caused me to drop out of the field of engineering, which i had been preparing for for 7 years. I felt like... Everything that i had been told was a lie. I began to question what the value of my life was, and was in a really, really, really dark headspace. Then i started watching the season 3 world championships. People like Faker and Tabe who were so flawlessly humble and kind, yet so godly. I looked up to them, and all of a sudden, i had something i could hope for. League quite literally ended the single worst time of my life. Now, im working, taking courses at a community college, and yes, still playing league.

To me league is more than a game, its a realm where i can go to escape all of the negativity that might surround me in real life. But now that i have shared what League means to me, i want to know what it means to all of you guys. Thank you Riot!
