Why does every skillshot have to interact with the minimap?
Global skillshots such as Ashe/Ezreal ults and Ashe's E have reasons to be targeted with the minimap, but then you get into shorter ranged abilities that you'd be using in teamfights and the interaction with the minimap becomes completely detrimental and nothing more than an annoyance. I first noticed it trying to drift as Azir towards the bottom right of the screen and I ended up going in the complete opposite direction simply because I had my mouse slightly over the minimap. You can imagine how embarrassing that was. I tried a custom game with Ashe to see if it happened with her W and it did. While this is somewhat less problematic, champions like Azir, Zed, Lee Sin, or Yasuo rely very heavily on their skillshots NOT going backwards. At least Ashe can still do things when her W accidentally goes in a different direction. Yasuo, Azir or Lee Sin throwing their Qs in random directions can effectively remove them from fights as they all rely on those abilities for the rest of their kits. Zed has a similar situation with his W, although he has another gap closer with his ult.
I've tried turning minimap movement off, but that does nothing to help. Is their some setting I'm missing or is this something Riot needs to look at differently?
