Champion select chat

As you all probably know mid and top are hotly contested roles in normals. On my screen it shows that I call mid first, however others either see themselves getting it first or claim to have gotten it. Are other people having this problem or the other people just lying? This has happened about 4-5 times to me just today. In the latest time, my client displayed me as first, however the other four claimed otherwise. There is the possibility they were a stack but there is the possibility of the the client not functioning properly.
