I have been theorycrafting energized and it can't really compete with crit or on-hit. So it is only really a good option on marksmen jungle. The best buff would be the Stormrazor also (slightly) increasing the generation of energy stacks.

especially for junglers as they are more prone to moving around the map
Power Cosmic1 votesSay you build energized items on Kayle or Kog.... Either can go on-hit and trigger the on-hit on every aa, or go crit and do way more damage, energized doesn't come close to measuring up to either.
