Le Blanc or Katarina? Pls help me choose.

Ok, so lately i've been wondering on what 3 midlaners should i main out of 124 champions. It wasan't easy, but i figured that for the best variety, i should pick :

1 ad - Thats going to be YasuoYasuo for me 1 ap mage - Thats going to be AnnieAnnie (mained her since saeson 2 ;P) 1 ap assassin - That's going to be either Lb or Kata. And here's ther problem - i can't choose which one i'd prefer.

I have personal Likes/dislikes for each one:

Leblanc Pros:

  1. I love champions who are strong early, so lb on lvl 2 can easily dominate the lane.
  2. The way she decieves people with distortian, and her clone is sometimes breath taking, and just as enjoyable!
  3. Amazing utility, and hard to gank, letting me be super aggressive. Cons:
  4. Mana quickly runs out :/
  5. Not as scary if i don't win lane
  6. Can be hard to kill their carries in teamfight, if they are well positioned. Katarina Pros:
  7. I love getting Pentakills :P (didn't get one with kata yet for some reason tho :( )
  8. Can 1 vs 5 , and destory an enemy team instantly
  9. The rage of people is hilarious ;P
  10. Mana-less champions. Cons:
  11. Kinda useless if i lose lane
  12. Prone to CC
  13. Dosen't seem to be effective in higher elo's? Not even used in lcs for that matter :P so is there a point in maining a champ i will sooner or later have to drop?

Can you guys pls help me on my decision? I wondering which to choose to climb the ladder ;P

It is absolutely not true that Kat can 1 v 5 and destroy an enemy team instantly. When she gets a pentakill, it's usually because the rest of her team helped set it up by distracting and weakening the enemy team first. She can only hit 3 targets with 1 ult, so her team has to interfere with other enemies' efforts to kill her or escape in order for the pentakill to happen. Also, you should pretty much expect to lose lane with Kat. You'll lose some lane matchups harder than others but unless your opponent is way too careless you don't start getting lots of kills until teamfights start breaking out.

Leblanc is objectively stronger and safer for taking out a single target, and thus better during the laning phase, and has the potential to unleash some serious mayhem during teamfights even if not quite like what Kat can do if the conditions are right.

LB just had her fucking intestines ripped out by the nerf bat. Katarina also got a hit, but is still better able to carry games due to her teamfight damage. Go Kat.

Assuming they're not banned.. Kat will win you more games. Why? cuz an 0/7 kat can still quadra kill while being behind 2 items while leblanc just tickles people. Solo Q is often about team fighting and katarina, if patient enough.. can win team fights a lot easier than a leblanc can.

With that being said... fuck both these champs.
