Losing against faceroll just feels awful

I have no solution for this I recognize the need for easy champions in league and I certainly don't play the most mechanically difficult champions, but it just feels so bad when a Garen jumps on you and you know that there is jack all you can do to stop him from spinning on you with his free bundle of damage and tank stats and then finishing you off with 1k targeted true damage. Being kitable is not a sufficient weakness when you can stop someone from using cc and dashes for ~4 seconds on top of 2 speed boosts. It just seems to me that the easier the champion is to play the less sufficient their counterplay is. If I get outsmarted by a shaco or an enemy thresh weaves the perfect hook through a minion wave I feel like their success is well deserved and I'm not happy to get my ass handed to me but I can respect their mastery, but when a Xin right clicks me to death its just doesn't feel fair that I spend time learning champions with depth and a mastery curve while he throws his keyboard down the stairs and achieves better results. And it isn't fun to pick up these champions either, they are boring, flat, and unsatisfying to play. There aren't any clever tricks to learn and manipulate like the million and one uses for a wukong clone, I'll never pull off a fancy clutch play that I can put in my highlight reel, and most of them aren't a particularly strong addition to any real team comp, it seems to me as a rule of thumb the lower the skill floor the more selfish the champion Lulu, thresh and anti-personnel self peeling ADC's (basically as selfless as an adc can be without being Sivir or ashe) are at the top of the list for skillcaps, while the lowest skill caps are almost all low utility duelists and juggernauts. I'm not really going anywhere with this I just wanted to get a little salty.

You simply need to get better as in every season. Of course there's an alternative now: get boosted by d1 smurfs, and maybe they'll teach you why Garen sucks along the way.

People act like everyone who plays these champions is the same, which is not the case. A good Garen will zone me properly, have good wave control and warding. A bad Garen will only try to use his combo over and over again until one of us dies (him). It's pretty easy to tell the difference.

Losing to both those types of players maybe just means you aren't as good as you think you are.
