Anyone else having ping issues this patch?

Ever since tuesday specifically i've gone from an average 40 ms per game to around 70-90 ms per game. I've had horrendous ping spikes, one of which cost me a promo game and after testing in normal games and experiencing yet again higher ping than normal and then spikes going as high as 3k ping i just can't play the game anymore. I've had 2 teams surrender for me because i was stuck in base unable to do anything and asked them to spare me the afk penalty. I've played this game since mid season 3 and have NEVER had a patch mess with my ping. I'm still hesitant to associate it with the problem but after checking other games the online connection is unchanged from before (fine). I never thought such a thing could happen but who knows..
