So you decapitate Kha'zix 60 times, change Rengar. Yet, you leave Riven untouched.

Riven is the number one champion to be called busted and overpowered on the forums, yet she sees almost no changes. The last change was her Valor shield duration, which isn't even a big deal. The problem with Riven is her intense mobility that was unrivaled for a long time, and her power to drop people 100% to 0 with the slightest of ease. You simply cannot justify nerfing Kha'zix and Rengar, but not touching Riven.

Kha'zix had a ton of flat damage reduction on his ult. Rengar doesn't appear to be in a bad position right now.

Please, don't imply the boards have any idea how to balance this game. If Riot listened to the boards, leauge of legends would be dead. Every champion would've been nerfed out of the game entirely. Riven is an amazing pub stomper, that's where she shines. Katarina's much the same way.

Not to mention riven is a feast or famine champion. You either stomp hard or get stomped because she really has to build damage to be effective. She's seen as op because Riven scales nicely once she's up a kill or so (more damage from items + exp advantage) and is likely to snowball from there. Riven plays like a burst fighter, excelling in quick trades (shield and small stun). Riven is squishy enough to be stopped by champs like Nautilus who trade well.

In short: it is as you said, riven is supposed to be high damage with mobility but usually has to itemize towards damage because that is what is effective.
