Master Yi Q bug has gone on long enough.

So, this bug has existed for 4 months+ and two months ago it was reported that the bug was 90% fixed. Yet here we are 5 pbe updates since the above post and 1 real content patch, and it's still broken.

I don't main Yi or even really play him.. But it's just weird that this has existed for so long, I know Yi isn't a pick in competitive play, but imagine someone losing worlds just because a difficult bug has existed forever now.

This is a serious issue with a very old champion. If Kled or anyone freshly released had a core ability bugged on release it would be processed and handled much faster than this. This isn't a hate speech, I love riot and I know that who's been assigned this task is working on to the best of his/her capabilities. I just ask that maybe that person get a little bit of help? Or something..

to be fair it looks like a very fast bard portal/thresh lantern type situation.

where yi has to actually travel to his target for the effect to take place, so i can see why when hes in his casting animation it would piss a lot of yi players off if hit during that time frame would cancel alpha when the rest of alpha strike you are supposed to be immune.

Yeah I just had a game as Yi where I died to an Orianna ult in my Q lol.

I'd seriously like to know why this hasn't been fixed yet, if only because Shaco's ult often has a similar bug occur. I don't play Yi, but I play a lot of Shaco, and it's a pain in the ass when I time my ult perfectly only to have abilities hit me anyway.

They could easily fix it by just removing the untargetability altogether.
