From a purely numbers stands point. The MS boost Kalista gets from her jumps is superior to most gap closers in game. If you manage to position yourself in a bush and jump her, the gap closer would work fine. However, if you have to chase her, you still wouldn't stand a chance unless the Kalista suddenly suffers from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and stop in her tracks.
