Support Renamed to Controller?

Honestly it makes sense that supports in general would be considered controllers as they are a very strategic role that focuses on play making and helping their team.

I play support sometimes so i get it, but controller sounds bad and flat and I'd rather keep it as support lol

It's a matter of opinion. Plus people are still going to call it support.

Controller is a subset of mages, not supports in general. Controllers utilize a lot of CC and/or zoning tools, so this would be someone like Morgana or Lux. There are also enchanter mages like Lulu and Soraka, so not all supports are controllers, and not all controllers are supports.

Controller is not a subset of Mage. Disruptor is a subset of Support. The subsets for Mage is Battle Mage, Burst Mage, and Artillery Mage, all being based around the Mage's range, damage style (DPS or Burst), and their defensive mechanics (if any).

Controller is the replacement title of the classic Support.

Controllers: Enchanters or Disruptors

Where as Tank supports still go under Tank with subclass of Vanguards or Wardens

Subroles are going to replace normal roles so Supports are going to either be Enchanters or Disruptors.
